Early experience
In 1990, Wei Junjie graduated from the drama department of the Hong Kong Academy for performing arts. Under the recommendation of Huang Qiusheng, his elder martial brother, Wei Junjie joined Hong Kong TVB and became an artist.
Acting experience
In 1992, he played "Prince of the rising sun" in the TV series "yuanzhenxia" starring Liming. In 1994, he played the first leading actor Fang Shiyu in Fang Shiyu and Emperor Qianlong, which was the first time he played the first leading actor; in the same year, he played Hong Qigong in the legend of shooting carving Heroes: the southern emperor and the northern beggar.
In 1997, he starred with Ouyang Zhenhua and Guan Yonghe in the ancient costume drama "getting drunk and beating the Golden branch", playing the role of Li Bai. In 1998, she starred in "elder martial sister of the gun", playing a couple with Teng liming, and won the sixth place in the top ten TV programs of the weekly TV awards.
In August 2000, he cooperated with Zhang Jiahui, Ouyang Zhenhua and Lin Jiadong to play Zhou Wenbin in the ancient costume comedy tv series "four talents in golden Costume".

In October 2007, he played Cheng Ziqian, a lawyer in Tong Tian Gan tan. In February 2010, he played Su Dongpo in the TV series "unruly wife Su Xiaomei".
In 2013, he took part in the Chinese mainland drama dream back to the Tang Dynasty, playing pan Shouyi, a counsellor during the reign of Emperor Gaozong of the Tang Dynasty.
Personal life
In 1998, Wei Junjie took part in the wireless drama "elder martial sister with a gun", and fell in love with the heroine Teng Liming.
At the end of 2006, Wei Junjie filmed in Chongqing, China, and met Zhang Lihua, a student majoring in social sports in the 2006 Sports College of Chongqing University of Posts and telecommunications.
In May 2007, Wei Junjie broke up with Teng Liming.
On January 21, 2008, Wei Junjie was officially married in Chongqing. On October 28, 2010, Wei Junjie got a daughter.
On June 1, 2020, Wei Junjie's ex-wife Zhang Lihua admitted that she had made a mistake. She should not develop a new relationship without divorcing Wei Junjie and finally decide to divorce.
