Early experience
Wang Qi studied dance as a child. When she was 15 years old, she was selected by Sichuan armed police cultural troupe to become a professional dancer. In the same year, Wang Qi, as a sketch actor, participated in the Sichuan armed police headquarters Arts Troupe competition and won the first prize. Later, she was selected to participate in the whole army competition. Her sketch was selected to participate in the National Cao Yu drama sketch competition and won the outstanding actor award of the professional group. In 2002, he passed the national examination and entered the performance Department of PLA Academy of art.
Acting experience
In 2005, he took part in the Anti Japanese war drama "railway guerrillas" directed by Wang Xinmin, and has been performing since then. In the same year, he took part in the historical drama Ode to the river directed by Gong Ruofei.
In 2006, he worked with Director Wang Xinmin again to play tie Xiaowei, the daughter of tie Haitang, the commander of fengleibao, in his martial arts drama Ma Ming and Xiao Xiao Xiao.
In 2007, she played Han Xiujuan, the daughter-in-law of the rich, in the Anti Japanese war drama "ten days of life and death" directed by Zheng Xiaolong.
In 2009, he played Li Chunxiao, a college student who came from Yan'an to work in Longdong court, in the TV play sky adapted from the deeds of Ma Xiwu, former vice president of the Supreme People's court. Later, he acted in the war emotional drama "the bell rings in the mountains and the horse Gang" jointly directed by Ning Haiqiang and Zhu Xinyun, and played the role of team nurse Cao Xiaotang in the play.
In February 2010, he played the role of sun Yining, a college graduate, in the family drama "the daughter of the cuckoo" directed by Liu Erwei; in the same year, he played Liu Fenger, a girl adopted by Liu Tianci, in the war drama "Tie Li Hua" directed and written by Guo Jingyu.
In 2011, he played Yu Xiaoman, the only daughter of Yu Jinxiang, the head of Hangzhou "Yu" escort agency, in the criminal investigation drama "the mystery of blue butterfly" directed by Liang Kaicheng. In the same year, he acted in the TV play "where peach blossom is in full bloom" which reflects the theme of urban and rural planning in Chengdu.
In 2013, he participated in CCTV Spring Festival Gala, and acted in the sketch "today's happiness 2" with Shen Teng, Ma Li and Du Xiaoyu. Later, he took part in the CCTV Lantern Festival Gala and starred in the comedy "making lantern festival" with Allen, Wang Ning and Shen Teng. In April, the liberation war drama "Tongbai hero" premiered in the central eight golden stalls, playing Xiao Xiaorong who was killed by Kang Erke.
In 2014, he took part in Shen Teng's contemporary urban drama "love when you see people", in which he played Xiao Lan, the cashier of the grocery store, and acted as the producer of the play.
Personal life
Wang Qi and Shen Teng are both students of drama performance major of PLA Academy of Arts. On November 3, 2015, in Chengdu Happy Valley, Wang Qi agreed to her boyfriend Shen Teng's proposal. On March 17, 2016, Wang Qi and Shen Teng got married. In September 2016, Wang Qi and Shen Teng held a low-key wedding in Chiang Mai, Thailand. On September 10, Wang Qi and Shen Teng held a wedding banquet in a hotel in Beijing. On August 31, 2018, Shen Teng announced the birth of his son.
