Bai Chengbin, born in 1977, is a Korean film director and graduated from the Korean Academy of film arts.
In 2007, his short film "the French Lieutenant's Woman", based on John Fowles' novel, won the best film of "absolute nightmare" at the Korean mise en Scene Short Film Festival.
In 2008, he edited and directed his first feature film funeral member, won the new wave unit special mention award of Busan International Film Festival in 2008 and the Asia Film revitalization agency award, and was nominated for the Sina wave award. The film was also invited to the 59th Berlin International Film Festival.
