Qin Xiaoli (1925-october 12, 2005), formerly known as Qin Huiqing, is a female actress in Cantonese opera. He was born in Nanning, Guangxi in 1925. She is the niece of Liu kexuan, a famous Cantonese film actor in Hong Kong. Because her father, a teacher, had a wide range of friends, she knew many elders in the Cantonese Opera industry when she was young and began to learn art. Because his father liked to listen to Beijing opera, he got to know Mei Lanfang's northern school master and asked Qin Xiaoli to learn northern school Kung Fu and exercise. Later, he got to know a group of Bahe disciples, such as Zhang huoyou and Luo pinchao, who came to Hong Kong because of the fall of Guangzhou during World War II. They live in the dormitory of Qin's father's school, hold concerts every weekend, and gather their masters to sing opera. Qin Xiaoli, who doesn't have to attend class, listens to them. She gradually finds her talent for Cantonese opera. Her predecessors teach her basic skills, such as stage frame, voice lifting, body shape, singing, and so on.

Personal experience

After graduating from middle school, Qin Xiaoli joined the Cantonese Opera Troupe and began her acting career. In just a few years, she became a actress in the Cantonese Opera circle of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao. Qin Xiaoli's performances such as roushan cangdaji and Da Nao pan Si Dong were well-known for a time, and they were listed as the "four famous Dan" with fangyanfen, hongxiannv and Bai Xuexian. In particular, in 1949, she first brought the swimsuit to the stage in the performance of "meat mountain hidden Daji", which was quite avant-garde at that time and impressed the audience deeply. He died of cancer in San Francisco on October 12, 2005.
