Li Youning

Li Youning was born in Taipei on January 10, 1951. He grew up in a family village and graduated from Tamkang University in 1975. In the University, he studied in the Department of Educational Materials Science (which has been divided into the Department of educational technology and the Department of information and Library Science in Tamkang University), including many audio-visual education courses, as well as general knowledge of television and film. After retiring from the army, he entered the first TV Editing and directing class of China National Television Corporation to study TV drama editing and directing because of his interest, but he was determined to become a film director and go abroad for further study. From 1983 to 1983, Li Youning worked as a part-time columnist for the National Television Commission of the American times.
