Wu Yawen, born in February 1935 in Quanzhou City, Fujian Province, is a member of the Communist Party of China. He graduated from the crop major of Quanzhou agricultural school and is a senior forestry engineer of Fanxian Institute of forestry in Henan Province. Main achievements: after graduation, in response to the call of the party, he went north to support the work in the old revolutionary base areas, and was assigned to fan County of Henan Province (formerly Shandong) to engage in agricultural and forestry technology promotion, teaching and scientific research. Since he was the director of Fanxian Forestry Research Institute in 198, he has carried out the experiment of transferring trees from south to North and introducing new fine varieties of poplar and willow. In 1984, he participated in the national key forestry project "national regional experiment of fine clones of willow" during the sixth Five Year Plan Period and won the honorary certificate of the second prize of national invention. In 1985, Jiangsu Province and Liuzhou city respectively presided over the second and third class regional science and technology progress awards. He presided over the introduction experiment of new varieties such as Salix, Salix and Metasequoia in the county, and won 1 second prize and 2 third prizes of Municipal Science and technology progress respectively.

In 1985, he presided over the regional test of excellent new varieties of "suliu" in Henan Province, and won the third prize of provincial science and Technology Progress Award and the second prize of municipal department level respectively. He presided over the introduction experiment of new varieties such as Salix, Salix and Metasequoia in the county, and won 1 second prize and 2 third prizes of Municipal Science and technology progress respectively. He has published more than 10 papers in provincial and municipal forestry journals and national academic exchange conferences, one of which was co edited with others and submitted to the 18th International poplar Committee for academic exchange. In 1982, he was awarded as an agricultural labor model by Anyang District special office, as an advanced worker of science popularization in rural areas by Henan Association for science and technology, and as an advanced worker of forestry by Puyang Municipal Government in 1984. Over the years, he was rated as an advanced worker, an advanced scientific and technological worker, a model Communist Party member and a model CPPCC member by the county Party committee and the county government. He was once a member of Puyang senior and intermediate engineer title appraisal committee, a member of provincial, municipal and county forestry society, a member of China Forestry Society and China bamboo industry society, the 4th vice chairman of the county CPPCC, and a member of the 5th-7th Standing Committee of the county CPPCC.
