Wang Chi (1913-1939) was born in Jiangxi Province. He joined the Red Army of workers and peasants in 1930 and the Communist Party of China in the same year. After the Long March, the main force of the central red army stayed in the central revolutionary base and insisted on guerrilla warfare.
Character experience
In the spring of 1935, he was ordered to set up the Hunan Jiangxi border guerrillas. Later, he served as political commissar of a detachment. In 1938, he was transferred to the headquarters of the New Fourth Army. In May of the same year, he went with the army to the rear of the enemy in southern Jiangsu. In July, he entered Maoshan area and was sent to Yanling Town of Danyang county to maintain the self defense force of the society. In November, he was transferred to the post of deputy director of the Political Department of the Third Route Army of Jiangxi Anti Japanese volunteer army. In the spring of 1939, he died in the war with the Japanese army. He was 26 years old.
