Early experience

Ye Qitian was born in shuiniucuozhuang, Taibao City, Jiayi, in the early hours of June 1, 1948. After he was born, he was very weak and said that he might not be able to support him. But my grandfather (grandfather) was very distressed and went to ask for the protection of Mazu in Beigang (similar to asking for peace in the temple), so he gradually got better. Young Ye Qitian's family is quite poor. When his father ye Hepan was young, he tilled the fields (pulling cattle and plowing), cultivated grains all day long, and made a living in paddy fields. Her mother, ye Huangyuan, is a typical woman in traditional society, who stresses three obediences and four virtues. She is kind to others, but not fierce. Parents symbiosis has nine brothers and sisters, Kai Tian ranked third, there is a sister and a brother, there are five brothers and a sister. I remember when I was 13 years old, I went with my relatives to see a singing concert at Sanshan theater in Jiayi city. At that time, Hong Yifeng, Wen Xia and Zhang Hong singers went all over the province to perform.

Ye Qitian's ambition revealed to his friends and parents in the village that ye Qitian's father was also noncommittal about his determination to go north for development, and gave Ye Qitian 20 yuan as the cost of going abroad. Ye Qitian, whose wings are not hard, leaves shuiniucuo village in the backwater for a while, and takes the slow train to the north to start another journey of his life in the bustling night city of Taipei. With ideal and ambition, ye Qitian came to the city where he was not familiar with his life. At first, I stayed in the shop (the peddler's room) for a while. Just before dawn, I went to ZTE market to help people sell fish and vegetables and earn some pocket money from my boss. For two or three months, he thought about his family and felt that there was no progress in his future. So he packed his luggage and went back to his hometown shuiniucuozhuang. At the moment, I feel that I can't sing, so I come back. I always feel shameless to see my parents in my hometown. Although it has only been two or three months since the baptism of his hometown, sometimes he goes out occasionally and appears polite when he meets the elders of his hometown, which is even more praised.

After returning home, I still decided to come back to Taipei for another two months. I just came here on the day of selling fish and vegetables. But the ideal of singing remains unchanged.

Acting experience

Suddenly one day, ye Qitian ran into Mr. Lin Jinqing, a fellow villager across from his hometown, on the street of Caohe. He followed him to drive his white flower oil propaganda car every day, touring around and selling white flower oil. Because of his interest, he decided to join his tour group in charge of singing. Every day I go to the vegetable market and night market to be a singer. I live a gypsy life in the wandering world and earn money by singing.

At the age of 14, he lived on the street for more than two years. One day in his spare time, when he was practicing with a "Gezai book", he found that the "Gezai book" printed with the contact addresses of several singers. He once again summoned up the courage to follow the address to a bookstore near the circle of Dadaocheng and found his respected mentor Guo Dacheng. He told Guo Dacheng directly with his frank countryman and sincere heart. "I" want to worship you as my teacher. I hope the teacher can help me and promote Ye Qitian to be a singer. The teacher also gives a kind answer. Good!

In December of the new calendar in 1964, I suddenly received a telegram from Mr. Guo: "hurry to Taipei, and enter the recording studio in a few days.". In this way, he recorded a collection with three young singers at that time, including Liangshan, Youjun and Yaling. At that time, Mr. Liu Changqing and Mr. Guo, the boss of Jinxing records, suggested a stage name. They invited Mr. Chen Sanya, a famous radio host, to help him get the stage name of "Qitian". The meaning of "Qitian" was to open up the field and create dreams. Then ye Qitian was happy to get four hundred yuan for recording and returned to Jiayi.

After a long time, the official release of Venus records, ye Qitian's songs began to be broadcast in major radio programs in Jiayi area.

Political experience

Ye Qitian has elected legislators three times, and has nearly 100 million yuan in debt for the election. Many people think that becoming a legislator will make a fortune, but ye Qitian said that the cost of his service office is more than 1 million yuan a month, which is basically a flip flop, so he hopes that the album can repay his debt. For the sake of his election, his friends successively sponsored tens of millions of dollars, accumulating the last 120 million amazing figures!

In the explosion of the 2001 legislative election, ye Qitian admitted that politics is very hard. If he spent all his efforts on singing, he would make twice as much money. Ye Qitian stressed that if he tries to elect again, no matter whether he is elected or not, he will not run again. If he is elected, he will serve the people for four years. Otherwise, he will choose social service.

Because of the election, ye Qitian and his wife Liu Jiafen divorced. After a few years, their feelings seem to have a hope of getting back together. In the new album of 2005, there are two songs "hard heart" and "painful woman's heart" that ye Qitian sings to his ex-wife, hoping that she can understand his heart.

During the 2008 Taiwan regional leader election, ye Qitian openly supported KMT presidential candidate Ma Ying Jeou on the platform and sang the campaign song "Taiwan moving forward".
