Du Jiayi

Du Jiayi (formerly known as Du Peng), born in Shanghai, is an actor, host, screenwriter and producer in mainland China.

When I was young, I visited the studio with my father and decided to work in the film industry. At the age of 19, he went to Beijing alone and attracted attention for Miao Zhuang, a fat man who sang "my sun" in the movie "bath". Early experience

Du Jiayi, formerly known as Du Peng, was born on the Bund of Shanghai. When Du Jiayi was eight or nine years old, he once went out with his father and found that the Bund downstairs had become a different world in one night. His father told him that he was making a movie, so the word "movie" was linked with magic in his mind. Later he learned that it was the location Spielberg set up in Shanghai when he was shooting "the sun empire". In addition, Du Jiayi's cousin made recordings in Shanghai TV station. When he was a child, he often went to the recording studio to watch reference films and foreign films, so he was not unfamiliar with films from childhood.

Later, he went to a secondary school affiliated to a Medical University at the request of his parents. As a result, he went to the Acting Department of the Academy of drama and film. Du Jiayi said that the performance examination department was completely instigated by a group of hooligan friends who were in the alley in Shanghai. However, Du Jiayi was not admitted to both Shangxi and Zhongxi. Although he didn't pass the entrance examination, Du Jiayi still stayed in the campus where he went to play to see how people made plays and how they performed. Later, he joined the special effects team of Shanghai Film Studio as a friend and worked in ravia, which made Du Jiayi know how to make action plays very early. Half a year later, Zhang Jianya cooperated with the stunt team when he directed "the reborn warrior", and Du Jiayi was selected as the director's assistant. By chance, the teacher recommended Du Jiayi to play in the movie Tianya singer directed by Liu Guoquan. The film made Du Jiayi realize that he wanted to make a movie or go to Beijing. After coming to Beijing, Du Jiayi also experienced nearly a year's "history of blood and tears" of Beipiao. Acting experience

After that, Du Jiayi came into contact with many TV series projects in Feiteng film and television, and Zhang Yang's deputy director found him to play bath, which opened another window of his movie dream. This play made him know Zhang Yang, Zhang Yibai, Shi runjiu, Cai Shangjun, Liu Zhengfu and other young filmmakers at that time. While Du Jiayi played in Zhang Yuan's "I love you" and other films, he also began to participate in the screenplay creation and other work with these directors, and this stage made Du Jiayi firm in his determination to make films.

In fact, Mei Lanfang originated from a dramatic experience of Du Jiayi. One day, he went to the underground gymnasium of Chang'an Grand Theater to work out. Suddenly, he heard a burst of applause and cheers, which made him feel inexplicably excited. What's on stage is a play of Mei school. He knows nothing about Beijing opera, and he still doesn't know which one he's playing, but fragments of the movie farewell my concubine come to mind in an instant. So Du Jiayi immediately went to buy books on Peking Opera. The first one he picked was Mei Lanfang's biography: "it seems that god suddenly gave me an inspiration. I always remember someone told me that this is a fan that Mr. Mei gave to my grandfather. " As a result, Du Jiayi, 25, visited Mei Baojiu. Within three months, he signed a copyright contract with Mei's family for the film Mei Lanfang and became the producer of the film.

After reading the book at one go, Du Jiayi came up with the idea of making the film Mei Lanfang. In his eyes, Mei Lanfang is a magical character: "from the perspective of the film, Dan, just from the image, he is gorgeous, not to mention the personality charm of Mr. Mei Lanfang. His process from being a opera singer to becoming a Peking Opera master is a process full of Oriental philosophy. I think opera is a form of Oriental philosophy. In fact, it is very hypnotic. It was originally empty, but it can be easily found on the stage. There is a theory in the East called Yin and Yang. Mei Lanfang is a representative of the extreme of yin and Yang. Although he has experienced the changes of the times, he is still Mei Lanfang, which is also his greatest place. "

Zhuanshan

After Mei Lanfang, Du Jiayi was invited by director He Ping and recommended by Zhou Xun to play the leading role in wheat field. Since then, he began to actively seek his own voice as a director. At the same time, after reading Xie Wanglin's best-selling novel Zhuanshan, Chen Guofu is eager to find a young director to make the novel into a film. They can make up with each other as soon as they shoot it. The story is about a 24-year-old Taiwanese young man who embarks on the journey from Lijiang to Lhasa alone in the chilly October. Du Jiayi said that the hero is very much like himself.

The whole film went deep into the Tibetan area for more than two months, and the conditions were very difficult. "After crossing Lijiang, every day is dangerous. The lowest altitude is more than 3000 meters. All the roads are heavenly roads, and we often have to avoid the stones rolling down from the mountains while shooting."

Du Jiayi's craziness also infected the whole crew. In the film, there is a scene in which the hero Zhang Shuhao falls off a cliff. Originally, Du Jiayi found a stand in to complete it, but Zhang insists that he really falls off the cliff once. Although the protective measures are very good, the danger still exists from time to time. To Du Jiayi's surprise, a staff member of the photography team jumped to a narrow space on the cliff to make sure the camera didn't go through the scene. He didn't touch the cane until the camera was finished. The production director scolded, while Du Jiayi secretly invited the photography team to dinner.

In addition, the Jingfan flag appeared at the end of the film. It took seven workers three days to build it on the top of the snow mountain.
