From 1987 to 1992, he worked as a teacher of Wenzhou Institute of education; from 1992 to 2004, he served as the director of general physics teaching and research section, deputy director of department and director of Personnel Department of Wenzhou Normal University; from 2004 to 2007, he served as the director of Personnel Department of Wenzhou University; from August 2007, he served as the vice president of Wenzhou Vocational and technical college, of which, he has been working since August 2007 From January 2013 to January 2013, in charge of teaching and scientific research, from January 2013 to now in charge of students' scientific research.

He is mainly engaged in the teaching and research of higher education, the education and management of graduate students in our college, and the research of polymer condensed matter physics, biophysics, DNA computing and higher education. He has published more than 60 academic papers in relevant international and domestic journals, including nearly 50 SCI papers in authoritative foreign journals with high impact factors such as polymer and the Journal of Chemical Physics, and more than 10 papers in authoritative domestic educational research journals such as higher engineering education and China higher education research. He presided over one National Natural Science Foundation project, one key natural science foundation project of Zhejiang Province, one humanities and social sciences research planning project of the Ministry of education, seven provincial level projects such as science and technology plan of Provincial Natural Science Foundation and science and Technology Department, and participated in more than 10 national and provincial projects.
