Chen Xiaoxi
Chen Xiaoxi (1974 -), male, born in Lu'an, Anhui Province, is a lecturer in the teaching and Research Department of Ideological and political theory course of Chuzhou University, and a doctor of philosophy of Fudan University. He is mainly engaged in the theoretical and applied research of Chinese and Western ethics.
Character experience
In 1993, Chen Xiaoxi was admitted to Anhui Normal University to study English language and literature. At that time, the living expenses of college students were three or four hundred yuan per month, while the normal students were subsidized by more than 50 yuan per month, which was a very attractive condition for children born in rural areas. after graduating from high school, Chen Xiaoxi didn't have a clear understanding of his major. All he knew was that foreign languages were very popular to find a job. In addition, he had a little interest in foreign languages, so he chose English as his major. In the late 1990s, Deng Xiaoping called on the whole country to step up the cultivation of a group of interdisciplinary and interdisciplinary talents. For the graduating seniors, there is one more choice: work, postgraduate entrance examination, or double degree examination. In response to the call of the times, Chen Xiaoxi graduated from an Normal University in 1997 and was admitted to the law department of Fudan University to pursue a double degree in international economic law. In 1999, when Chen Xiaoxi was about to graduate from Fudan, she was recruiting police from Shanghai Public Security Bureau. This was the first group to recruit police from universities. Chen Xiaoxi is quite interested in this. The civil service is relatively stable and has a bright future. He decided to challenge his ability. After a period of preparation, he successfully passed the written examination and interview of civil servants and became a member of the people's police force of Shanghai Public Security Bureau. When he was a policeman, he started at the grass-roots level and took up many jobs, such as on duty patrol, community police, investigating and handling cases, doing office work, sorting out public security documents, etc. he traveled from thousands of families to hundreds of families, dealing with people of various colors. He tasted all kinds of tastes, and also experienced the different customs of big cities. He also learned fluent Shanghai dialect. After working as a policeman for two years, Chen Xiaoxi felt that his need for study could not be met. He resolutely resigned from his civil service, left the public security team, and went to a senior high school in Shanghai to try to teach as a foreign language teacher. at that time, it seemed that teachers and police were equal jobs, but it was difficult to find civil servants. It seemed that it was an irrational choice to quit civil servants and become a teacher. However, Chen Xiaoxi still wants to find a job that can connect her work with her major and continue her further study. During his teaching period from 2001 to 2005, he used his spare time to read many books on Humanities and social sciences. Coupled with his life experience in recent years, he gradually developed a strong interest in philosophy and wanted to explore the origin of the world and the true meaning of life. after self-study, in 2005, Chen Xiaoxi was admitted to the school of philosophy of Fudan University with excellent results. after graduation, Chen Xiaoxi wanted to go to colleges and universities to engage in teaching. However, in Shanghai, it was difficult for him to teach for a master's degree. Considering his limited knowledge at that time, he did not immediately apply for a doctorate, but went to Shanghai Nanhu vocational college to teach foreign languages. After a year of knowledge reserve, in 2009, Chen Xiaoxi entered Fudan University for the third time, began his doctoral career, and continued to study ethics! after living in Shanghai for 15 years, he felt the joy of life in a big city, as well as the difficulties and hardships. After his doctoral degree in 2012, after many considerations, he did not stay in Shanghai. Instead, he chose to work in Chuzhou college, a famous university in Anhui Province, and became a university teacher. as a teacher again, Chen Xiaoxi still treats this job with full enthusiasm. He mainly teaches students ideological and moral cultivation and fundamentals of law and an introduction to the basic principles of Marxism. He used to teach foreign languages as a teacher, but now he turns to teach students ideological and political courses. In fact, he is worried that his class will not be recognized by college students. In Chen Xiaoxi's opinion, the main point of teaching lies in the first word "teaching", not in how much a person has learned. As a teacher, whether it's teaching or scientific research, it's very dangerous to have a bad relationship with students. The important thing is to make students and teachers reach a kind of harmony in the process of learning teaching materials. Through language telling, students will be brought into a situation, and students will be willing to communicate with teachers. in getting along with the students, the enthusiasm and simplicity of the students gave him great confidence. This also makes him constantly urging himself to mobilize more resources in the future teaching, adopt the updated teaching concept, enrich the classroom, and strive to enable students to "genuinely love, benefit for life, and never forget" his class. he thinks that the goal of these 12 words is not unattainable, because the teaching profession has its particularity. He directly deals with college students who are in the transition period of outlook on life and values. No matter how precocious the students are, he always has to interpret and define himself from the perspective of others. Ye Gao, deputy director of the ideological and political education and research department, commented on Chen Xiaoxi's class as "superb." His class will never be dull, never lack of laughter. He uses humorous words to interpret ideas, uses vivid examples to prove his point of view, and uses philosophical thinking to make students feel academic charm. Students are willing to communicate and discuss with him in class, and he is tireless in answering questions for students. Chen Xiaoxi believes that philosophy is inseparable from young students, and vice versa. The orientation of running a school in a high-level application-oriented undergraduate college is not contradictory to using philosophy to lead young students. Since philosophy is the quintessence of the spirit of the times, undergraduate students not only adapt to the times, but also guard the mind and lead the times.
Academic attainments
In recent years, he has published many excellent papers in academic journals, such as holism vitalism: a perspective for studying Hutchison's moral philosophy, the distinction between reason, emotion and Morality -- Also on the argumentation and significance of emotionalism in the Scottish Enlightenment, and on Kant "Model" and so on. He also participated in the tutor's 2012 national key research project (sub project: British moral philosophy part), "Research on the general history of Western Moral Philosophy", the youth fund project of the Ministry of education in 2012, "Research on the value choice ability of post-90s college students", and the fund project launched by Chuzhou University in 2012, "Research on Hutchison's concept of moral sense and happiness theory". Chen Xiaoxi, who hopes for a higher breakthrough in scientific research, sometimes feels lonely and helpless. He said that not everyone will learn philosophy from a professional perspective, but in daily life they always unconsciously collide with philosophy. He hopes that through the study of ethics, he can say something that others haven't said, put forward some viewpoints that others haven't put forward, and do more pioneering activities. To use today's buzzword is to release "positive energy.". For example, since the summer vacation of 2012, Chen Xiaoxi began to contact with journey to the west, studying and writing at the same time, which he said: if Western ethics theory is a kind of "Western learning", then the research on journey to the west is another kind of "Western learning". When the water is over a thousand nets, there are fish in every net. Chen Xiaoxi said: don't think that the things that experts and famous experts have studied will make it difficult for us to reach a new height. As long as we integrate our true feelings in the process of research, you will find that new sparks are constantly bursting out. It may be a lonely job to do some remote research on the west, but sometimes it's particularly interesting to feel Chinese culture and thoughts from a Western perspective. At present, many people are trying to get down to earth. After coming to Chuzhou, Chen Xiaoxi has stored up a lot of literature related to Ouyang Xiu, including his own works, and the works and albums of scholars who study him. He thinks that he should keep others' height, not to cool down and shrink, and then, in another way, he should go through the west, base himself on China, borrow a stick from the west, and take the money It's not too bad to come to China.
