Shiyuan
Shi Yuan, male, a veteran actor of Shanghai Film Studio, formerly known as Zhang Shiyuan, was born in Tianjin on May 31, 1919 and died on February 23, 1999.
Acting experience
He graduated from Xiaoguang middle school in 1939. He began to perform in drama in the early 1940s. In 1941, he played Chen Hua, the son of the old headmaster, in the film Gone with the wind. In 1948, he entered Datong film company and played a role in dumb wife, several storms and other films. From 1948 to 1949, he played Zhang Jianwen in the film "hot blood", Zhang Xiaolin in "happy days", Bao Suishi in "dumb wife" and Xiao Jing in "several storms".
After the founding of the people's Republic of China, he served as an actor in Shanghai Film Studio. In "today I rest", he played Luo Ailian, who impressed the audience deeply. In the 1950s, he also participated in the dubbing of some translated films, such as "village female teacher", "imperial envoy minister" and so on.
He was active in the film industry until the 1980s.
His representative works include: Shangrao concentration camp, today I rest, true story of Ah Q, old stories in the south of the city, ghost love, etc.
The Shiyuan family is really a "movie family". Luo Jingyi, his wife, was a famous actor in the 1940s and 1950s, and Zhang Min, his daughter, was a famous young actor in Shanghai Film Studio.
