Song Zheng
Song Zheng is a professor in the Department of economics of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, an outstanding scholar in the school of Social Sciences of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, director of the Joint Center for China Economic Research of the Chinese University of Hong Kong and Tsinghua University, and an outstanding visiting professor in the school of economics and management of Tsinghua University. Before joining the Chinese University of Hong Kong, he was an associate professor of economics at Booth School of business, University of Chicago.
Professor Song Zheng's research field is Chinese economy and macroeconomics. He has published papers in the top economic journals American economic review and Econometrica. His paper "growing like China" won the Sun Yefang Economic Science Award and the excellent paper award of Chinese young economists.

Professor Song Zheng's research direction is macroeconomics and Chinese economy. Song Zheng was an associate professor of economics at the Booth School of business at the University of Chicago. His academic part-time jobs include co editor in chief of China economic review, deputy editor in chief of Econometrica and Journal of European Economic Association, member of Academic Committee of China economic foundation, etc.
His paper "growing like China" won the 2013 Sun Yefang economics award.
