Ni Huiying
Ni Huiying, born in February 1956 in Nanning, Guangxi, is a member of the first Cantonese Opera Troupe in Guangzhou. He is a deputy to the 12th National People's Congress, a national first-class actor, chairman of Guangdong Provincial Dramatist Association, and winner of the 14th China Drama Plum Blossom award. He is known as "golden voice" and "king of Xiaoqu".
In 1970, Ni Huiying started her career. In 1981, he won the best actress award of Guangdong opera Hundred Flowers Award. In 1992, Ni Huiying won the second golden Record Award of China record service with a song "sword returns", becoming the first person in the Cantonese Opera industry to win this award. In 1995, he won the first prize of performance in Guangdong International Art Festival. In 1997, he won the 14th "plum blossom Award" and "outstanding actor award" of China Drama Festival.
Ni Huiying is unique in Cantonese Opera with her unique fresh, beautiful, tactful and emotional artistic style. Since her debut on the stage of Cantonese Opera at the age of 14, Ni Huiying has starred in more than 50 dramas, such as "the daughter Xiang at the bottom of the sword", "Fan Li offering Xi Shi", "the legend of the White Snake", "the romance of the moon in the West Chamber" and "the queen of South Vietnam", creating many dazzling artistic images.

Ni Huiying was born in Nanning, Guangxi in 1956. When she was born, her voice was loud and clear. The nurses in the hospital said with a smile that she was a child of opera.
In 1958, Ni Huiying settled down in Guangzhou with her father. She often went to the Cultural Park and took part in the school's literary and artistic activities when she was a student. She was influenced by culture since she was a child.
In 1964, at the age of 8, Ni Huiying took part in the large-scale music and dance epic "Oriental red" rehearsed in Guangdong Province. As a child, she took part in various performances. Soon, Guangzhou Cantonese Opera Troupe found Ni Huiying and hoped that she would join the troupe. However, despite the opposition of her family, Ni Huiying resolutely devoted herself to the cause of Cantonese opera.
After entering the industry
In the 1970s, Ni Huiying successively entered Guangzhou Cantonese Opera Troupe and performed the model play red light with Chen Xiaofeng, a Cantonese opera performing artist, in which she played Li Tiemei. In the modern Cantonese Opera Red Detachment of women, Ni Huiying created the image of Qionghua, a female slave who dares to break through the darkness and pursue the light, thus becoming famous at one stroke. In the late 1970s, Ni Huiying followed the friendly generation of Guangzhou The delegation made a friendly visit to Fukuoka, Japan.
In the 1980s, Ni Huiying, hongxiannv and Lu Qiuping won the "best actress award of Cantonese Opera Hundred Flowers Award" jointly by Guangdong Drama Association. At the second Guangdong Art Festival, Ni Huiying created a pure and beautiful princess in Wu Qi and the princess, and won the first prize for performance.
In the early 1990s, Ni Huiying held a special "Ni Huiying concert"; in the same year, he recorded the song "sword returns" in "blood washing and love fixing sword", which won the second golden Record Award of China record company and became the first person in the Cantonese Opera industry to win this award.
Huaiying was awarded the most popular stage and performance award in Guangzhou in 1994.
In 1995, at the Guangdong International Art Festival, Ni Huiying performed the ancient costume drama "Rui Wang and Zhuang Fei", in which she played the leading role of Zhuang Fei.
In 1997, in the Fifth China Drama Festival, Ni Huiying acted in the modern drama "tuyuan", in which she played a smart young woman. She created the image of "a Feng", a young man with vision, scientific mind, love, righteousness and indomitable spirit in the contemporary rural areas of Guangdong Province. She won the national award of "outstanding actor award" in the Fifth China Drama Festival. In the same year, he won the 14th Chinese Drama Plum Blossom award.
At the beginning of 2001, Ni Huiying proposed the concept of "urban Cantonese Opera", and in 2002, she planned and starred in the large-scale Cantonese Opera "Hua Yue Ying". With this opera, Ni Huiying won the first prize of repertoire and performance at the 8th Guangdong Provincial Art Festival, and was invited to participate in China International Art Festival and Singapore Art Festival for the first time.
In April 2004, Ni Huiying and students from Sun Yat sen University discussed Cantonese Opera and performed the traditional Cantonese opera play shiyubangle. In November, Ni Huiying was invited to give a charity performance of Guangdong Hong Kong Friendship yuequ evening party, and performed with Guo fengnv and other yuequ artists.
In November 2005, Ni Huiying won the "Seine Award for best actress" in the second Chinese Opera Festival held by the Chinese cultural center in Paris. In December, Ni Huiying was elected chairman of Guangdong drama.
In November 2007, Ni Huiying won the title of the second national young and middle-aged virtuous and artistic artist, becoming the first artist in Guangdong to win this award.
In 2009, Ni Huiying became the artistic director and chairman of the company of Guangzhou Cantonese Opera Theater.
In December 2010, Ni Huiying gave a special performance at friendship theatre, where she has been engaged in art for 40 years. After performing several classic segments of Cantonese opera, Ni Huiying performed the Cantonese Opera duet "good Guangzhou" in collaboration with Li Ziliu, the former mayor of Guangzhou.

Naming
Ni Huiying's original name was Ni Zhi. Because he thought his name was too masculine when he was in primary school, he finally changed his name to Ni Huiying.
