Character evaluation
Among Lin Nong's contemporaries, he is not only an outstanding existence, but also a rare scenery. He is not only "born for the film", but also expresses his "faith" and "sincerity" in the film or through the film. He is an important constructor and spokesman of the spiritual connotation and cultural temperament of new China's film. As an actor born director, Lin Nong's exploration and training of actors is well-known; because of his "understanding of drama", Lin Nong's internal rhythm formed by creating situations, dramatic conflicts and scene scheduling also ensures the integrity of the film itself and enhances the ideological and emotional tension of the film. Moreover, Lin Nong not only "understands drama", but also understands the inner rhythm, scene scheduling and narrative conflict of managing films (review of contemporary films).
