Wang Dinghua

Wang Dinghua, male, was born in April 1963. His ancestral home is Neixiang County, Henan Province. He joined the party in May 1988 and began to work in July 1986. He graduated from Hebei University as a doctor of foreign education history. He studied in Henan University, Hebei University and Portland State University.

He is now Secretary of the Party committee of Beijing Foreign Studies University.

From 1986 to 1994, he taught in Henan University.

From 1994 to 2000, he successively worked in the education administration department, compulsory education department and Senior High School Education Department of the Ministry of education.

From 2000 to 2003, he served as the head of the education consul, exchange and research group of the Chinese Consulate General in New York.

From 2003 to 2006, he successively served as the director of the office of the basic education department of the Ministry of education and the director of the general affairs department.

In 2007, he joined the leading group of the basic education department of the Ministry of education. He was in charge of the general office and school management office, and was responsible for comprehensive research and international projects on major issues of basic education. He also served as the education for all coordinator of UNESCO.

From November 2012 to March 2016, he served as director of the first Department of basic education of the Ministry of education.

From March 2016 to March 2018, he served as director of the Department of teacher work of the Ministry of education.

In March 2018, he served as secretary of the Party committee of Beijing Foreign Studies University.

He has published more than 50 papers on basic education, higher education and comparative education in important educational journals at home and abroad. He has published his monograph "entering American education", edited the history of Chinese and foreign education, education and environment, and perspective of American education, and co authored the foundation of comparative education, China's educational reform and development, and the hope of national rejuvenation - China's educational system He organized the translation of "universities in the 21st century", "the future of American public universities" and "educational research methods".
