Director of Shanghai Film Studio. Born in August 1921 in Chongde County, Zhejiang Province. In 1941, he became an actor in Shanghai Tianfeng opera company. Later, he became an actor in Shanghai Art Troupe, Tianjin Yinxing travel troupe, Shanghai Opera Company, etc. After entering Shanghai Cultural film company in 1950, he became deputy director and director of United Film Studio and Tianma film studio. He has been engaged in the art of watch and director for more than 40 years. He was Huang zuolin's deputy director for many years. He has directed and co directed films such as "Master Li", "Liu Jiemei", "snow green horse", "Wu Song", "how can't talk together", "Xiao Baotou takes office" and so on. Sun Wukong's three hit Baigujing, jointly directed by Yang Xiaozhong, won the Best Drama Award of the second hundred flowers award. He is a member of China Film Association.
