Zhang Jianya

Zhang Jianya (pseudonym: Mujiang), born in Putian City, Fujian Province in 1951, graduated from the Directing Department of Beijing Film Academy in 1982, is a male director in mainland China.

In 1982, Zhang Jianya directed his first film the red elephant. In October 1992, Zhang Jianya's comedy film "San Mao joined the army" was released. He won the outstanding director award of the 6th China Film bull award and nominated the best director of the 13th China Film Golden Rooster Award. In 1994, he won the best director award of the 1st China Film Huabiao Award for his comedy film "the end of the world". On November 1, 2002, the director's action thriller "polar rescue" was released. In 2006, he directed the TV play "the rule of Zhenguan" for the first time. On February 8, 2007, the romantic comedy "love call forwarding" directed by the director was released in the mainland of China. In 2011, he was the chief director of the new version of journey to the West. He directed the biographical film Qian Xuesen in 2012.

Early experience

In 1975, Zhang Jianya worked as an actor in Shanghai Film troupe. In 1978, he was admitted to Beijing Film Academy. He was a classmate with Chen Kaige and Zhang Yimou. In 1982, after graduation, he served as assistant director and director of Shanghai Film Studio. In the same year, he directed red elephant with Xie Xiaojing and Tian Zhuangzhuang, the first work of class 78 of Beijing Film Academy.

Acting experience

In 1990, he played a poet Dong xiechuan in the TV series besieged city directed by Huang Shuqin.

In October 1992, Zhang Jianya's comedy film "the story of Sanmao joining the army" was released, which was edited and directed by Zhang Leping. The film created the post-modern comedy style of Chinese film. In 1993, he made the movie "Mr. Wang's lust" based on Ye Qianyu's cartoon "Mr. Wang".

In 1994, he won the best director award of the 1st China Film Huabiao award and the special award of the 15th China Golden Rooster Award.

In 1995, he began to build China's first computer special effects film "havoc in heaven", which was based on the first seven chapters of the original work. Unfortunately, the fund was withdrawn halfway and failed to complete.

In 1999, he directed the film "emergency landing", which is the first attempt in the history of Chinese film to use computer special effects to show thrilling scenes. It is of pioneering significance. The film won the best feature film award and excellent film technology award of 1999 China Film Huabiao award, and the best feature film special award of the 20th China Film Golden Rooster Award.

On November 1, 2002, director's thriller action movie polar rescue was released, starring Mo Wenwei and Shao Bing.

In 2006, he directed the historical drama "the rule of Zhenguan". Historian Meng Xianshi and writer Acheng participated in the creation of a TV play for the first time. The play reproduces the historical features of the early Tang Dynasty and the living Zhenguan monarchs and ministers. This is the first TV play directed by Zhang Jianya.

On February 8, 2007, the director's romantic comedy "love call forwarding" was released in mainland China. On October 12, the film "Dongfang Dagang", a key tribute film of the 17th National Congress produced by Shanghai Film Group Co., Ltd., was premiered in the auditorium of the National Committee of the Chinese people's Political Consultative Conference.

In 2008, he directed the sequel "love on the left and on the right" after "love call forwarding". In the same year, he directed a series of digital films about heroes of the marsh, including "Mu Ye Cha sun Er Niang".

In 2011, he served as the chief director of the new version of journey to the west, a famous Chinese classic, prepared by producer Zhang Jizhong.

On March 2, 2012, the biographical film Qian Xuesen was released by the Western Film Group Co., Ltd. and the TV Art Center of the General Equipment Department of the Chinese people's Liberation Army.

In 2015, he directed the romantic comedy "journey to India" (formerly known as "journey to India").

On October 1, 2020, the film "me and my hometown" will be released, in which old man Jiang will be played.

On January 11, 2021, I worked as the producer of the film "big city building" produced by Shanghai Film (Group) Co., Ltd.

Personal life

In 1984, Zhang Jianya married actor Zhang Yu. They met under the introduction of Guo Kaimin. But for various reasons, they finally divorced.
