He graduated from Beijing Medical College (now Peking University) in October 1982. Assigned to orthopedic department of Beijing Jishuitan Hospital (the Fourth Clinical Medical College of Peking University). He was the chief physician in 2001. Professor in 2004. He joined the army in June 2010. He was transferred to the First Affiliated Hospital of PLA General Hospital, Beijing 304 hospital (China Institute of bone and joint) as the head of orthopedics and joint surgery and sports medicine group.
From 1980 to Beijing Jishuitan Hospital orthopedics rotation practice, 30 years in more than 10000 cases of operation training, accumulated rich clinical experience in hip and knee surgery. It has a high level in the diagnosis, treatment and operation of difficult diseases and complex bone and joint diseases, femoral head necrosis, hip impingement syndrome and congenital joint deformity.
In 1997, we took the lead in carrying out the operation and academic research of periacetabular osteotomy for hip dysplasia in China, and have completed more than 600 cases. The number of operation cases and treatment effect are in the leading level in Asia. The excellent and good rate of mid-term follow-up was 93%. Good at complex total hip arthroplasty and total knee arthroplasty, revision surgery. Good at small incision (less injury, quick recovery) total hip arthroplasty and total knee arthroplasty.
In 2000, he went to Berne Peninsula hospital in Switzerland to receive Professor Ganz's training on hip dysplasia periarticular osteotomy and hip impingement syndrome. We will step into the world's advanced bone and joint field. He is a member of Chinese Orthopedic Society. Member of Beijing Orthopedic Society and head of joint group. Member of the Chinese minimally invasive society. Vice president of Asia Pacific artificial joint society. He is the editorial board member of the Journal of arthroplasty and orthopedics. He served as editorial board member of Chinese Journal of surgery, Chinese Journal of orthopedics, Chinese Journal of bone tumor and osteopathy, Chinese Journal of multi organ diseases for the elderly, etc.

He is a medical member of the International Collegiate Sports Federation. Published more than 20 papers in international and domestic medical core journals.
In 2004, he won the John Insall Traveling Fellowship of the United States (the scholarship is only awarded to young clinical orthopaedic experts with outstanding achievements in the field of artificial knee joint). There are only four teachers in the world each year. He visited more than 10 international famous artificial joint hospitals in the United States and Canada, and learned from many international famous orthopedic experts.
