Gao Liqiang, born in Jinan, Shandong Province in 1955, is a director from the mainland of China and graduated from the advanced director training class of Beijing Film Academy.

In 1994, he directed his first TV play General Zhang Xueliang. In 1996, he directed the costume drama Sun Tzu, which won the award of excellent director and excellent camera in Shandong Province.
