Liu Shibing

Liu Shibing, born in Hubei Province in September 1938, is a professor of Beijing Film Academy, Deputy Secretary General of China Film Performance society, and deputy director of Education Professional Committee of China Film and Television Art Technology Association (Society).

Personal resume

In 1956, he was admitted to class 56 of the film academy. He graduated in 1960 and stayed in school to teach. He once performed in class B of 62. In September 1973, Jiang Qing, Yu Huiyong and others incorporated the six art colleges directly under the Ministry of culture in Beijing into the central May 7th University of Arts, and changed the Beijing Film Academy into the film school of the central May 7th University of Arts. At the same time, they merged all the teachers of the film performance department into the performance Department of the theater school of the central May 7th University of Arts. Film performance education is stifled. During his stay in the Academy of drama, some of the teachers participated in the enrollment and teaching work of the Department of external guidance in 1973 and 1974, while some of the teachers went to the countryside and factories for labor training. At the beginning of 1976, all the teachers of the former film performance department returned to the film school. So far, film performance education, which has been suspended for nearly 10 years, has begun to recover. The school appointed Liu Shibing as the leader of the leading group of the performance department. In 1978, sun Yuezhi was appointed director of the performance Department of the college. Jiang Yunhui and Liu Shibing are deputy department directors. In March 1982, the college decided to appoint Li Ning as the director of the performance department, Liu Shibing and Wang chenglian as the deputy director of the Department. In December 1984, the college decided to appoint Qian xuege as the director of the performance department, Liu Shibing as the deputy director of the Department. In August 1988, the college appointed Liu Shibing as the director of the Department. In 1992, it recruited one graduate student. Research direction: performance creation and teaching, tutor: Liu Shibing. In April 1992, Liu Shibing was appointed as the head of the Department. Performance 92 class, 95 class performance teachers, 92 graduate tutors. He once served as deputy director and director of the Department. He is also the executive director of China Film Performing Arts Association.

He has been engaged in the teaching of film and television performance for many years. He has presided over the teaching and research work of the whole department for many years. He has published monographs such as lecture notes of film and television performing arts, introduction to film performing arts, (co-author), Centennial History of Chinese Film Performing arts, and executive editor in chief of the series "new century film performing forum" (Part I and part II) "innovation collection of film performing arts" 》"Image building on screen" and so on. He wrote dozens of papers, including on film performance and its teaching, the contribution of Xie Jin's film performance aesthetics to Chinese films, on the performance shaping of heroic images in New China's films, the development and changes of film performance aesthetics in the new era, and the preliminary exploration of the realistic performance system of Chinese films.?

Directing films

He has written and published dozens of critical articles on the performing arts of Cui Wei, Zhao ziyue, Gong Li and other famous actors. Serve as the editorial board member of the dictionary of film art, and write some performance art data. He has directed films and TV series such as "the girl carrying the plate", "you, me and him", "Golden Phoenix", "eleven cards", "marriage in Longfeng village", etc., as well as large feature films and short plays of PUFA series. He once served as a national judge of the "government award" and the film performance society.
