Hao Shuai
Hao Shuai, born in Tianjin, China on October 1, 1983, is a member of the Chinese men's table tennis team.
He began to play at the age of 6. He joined the Tianjin team in October 1996, the second national team in March 1999, and the first national team in December 2000. He won the men's singles championship in the 2007 Croatian open, the 2008 China table tennis open, the men's singles championship in the first leg of the 2009 International Table Tennis Federation tour in Slovenia, and the team World Cup in 2010. Hao Shuai, as a member of the Chinese team, won the team championship World champion. Hao Shuai won the first men's singles championship in 2012 Suzhou open, beating Samsonov, Boer, Xu Xin and Wang Liqin.
Early experience
The reason why Hao Shuai came into contact with table tennis was that his mother sent him to Chengdu Road Primary School in Heping District in order to make time to do some housework. It was by chance that Hao Shuai was attracted by Li Haosong, the school's table tennis coach. Therefore, daily table tennis training became a compulsory course for Hao Shuai. From then on, Hao Shuai and table tennis formed an indissoluble bond.
In July 1989, he entered Tianjin Heping District Sports School. In September 1996, Hao Shuai was selected into the youth training team set up by Tianjin table tennis management center. The training period is one year. In March 1999, Liu Xun was selected as the second national team. In July 1997, Liu Xun officially took over the Tianjin men's table tennis team. After a year's assessment, Hao Shuai became a trial player of Tianjin men's table tennis team. He joined the national first team in December 2000.

In March 1999, Hao Shuai was selected into the second national team. In the entrance examination of the second national team, Hao Shuai didn't play well at the beginning of the round robin, lost three games in a row, and then improved.

On November 19, 2003, the International Table Tennis Federation Sweden open lost to Chinese player Wang Liqin, ranking fourth in the men's singles.
Hao Shuai led Metz 3-0 in the quarter final of men's singles in 2005 World Table Tennis Championships. He took the lead 10-7 in the fourth inning, but made a half high mistake. Finally, Metz won 4-3.
On June 22, 2007, China's Hao Shuai lost to Italy's Bobo chica in the first round of the International Table Tennis Federation tour in Japan.
Hao Shuai did not get the chance to participate in the 2008 Olympic Games and the 2009 Yokohama World Table Tennis Championships. He only participated in doubles.
On October 1, 2010, the Chinese men's team won the table tennis world cup 3-0 over South Korea in the final, achieving the third consecutive championship. Hao Shuai became the 101st world champion in the history of national table tennis.
On August 26, 2012, in the 2012 ITTF China open, Hao Shuai staged a reversal with a big score of 0-2 behind, and finally won the singles championship of the ITTF tour with a 4-3 narrow victory over Wang Liqin.
On September 10, 2013, after five games of table tennis, Tianjin Gemini Hao Shuai and Li Ping beat host players Zhai Yiming and Xu Hui 3-2 to win the bronze medal in men's doubles.
On October 12, 2013, Hao Shuai and Yan an won the men's Doubles Championship in the Sixth East Asian Games.
On December 5, 2013, the team of Tianjin University of science and technology led by Hao Shuai defeated the defending champion Atlanta Table Tennis Association Team 1 with a score of 3:1 in the semi-final of the North American table tennis team championship of the Yola Cup held in Maryland, USA. In the final, he lost to Fujian men's table tennis team 2:3 And won the team runner up.
On January 27, 2014, the 2014 World Table Tennis Championships in Tokyo China table tennis team trial was held in Zhenjiang. Hao Shuai and Cheng Jingqi played a 28-26 game.
On September 3, 2017, in the mixed doubles final of the 13th National Games, Hao Shuai / Wang Yidi lost 1:4 to Yu Ziyang / Wang Manyu and won the second place.

Hao Shuai's girlfriend Xizi is from Inner Mongolia. In 2000, Xizi came back to Hohhot to recuperate for a week due to illness. She happened to meet her former teammate to play a game. His backhand feeling is very good, the rotation, speed, arc adjustment ability is good, but the forehand strength is weak, offensive deviation. Hao Shuai is good at speed, but weak in strength.
