Pan Liping

Pan Liping, male director in mainland China, graduated from Economics Department of Wuhan University, and chief director of "little drama bone" column of Hunan Radio and television station. Xiaoxigu is an original play by Pan Liping's team.

In 1986, he joined Hunan Radio and television station and served as the first director of the program center of Hunan Satellite TV. He was an important "reformer" in the early days of the establishment of satellite TV. His "evening news" and "village discovery" are important original representative works of Hunan TV. Known as the "geek" of Hunan Radio and television, the New York Times in October 2001 evaluated him as "a breakthrough in the traditional expression of Chinese TV news".
