Early experience
Niu Zhen, formerly known as Zhang Xuejing, was born in Tianjin in 1935, ranking sixth among his brothers and sisters.
At the age of 6, Niu Zhen lost his parents and lived with his brother, who was a driver at the third power plant in Beiping (later Xinying). Many actors, such as Xie Tian, Han Tao and Qi Heng, lived in the backyard of the third power plant.
When Niu Zhen was a child, he was clever and diligent, and often helped them run errands. Acting experience
