Lu Yuan is the first generation of college students in New China. She graduated from the Economics Department of Nankai University in 1950. During her study, she was an announcer of the university radio station. After being introduced by the University, she entered the broadcasting industry after some twists and turns. She was assigned to Tianjin People's radio station, where she successively served as an announcer, radio play director and actor. In the 1970s, he was transferred to Tianjin TV drama production center as a director of translated films.
