Li Xiaojiang

Li Xiaojiang, female, born in Jiujiang, Jiangxi Province in 1951, is the director and professor of gender research center of Dalian University. He has been a visiting scholar and distinguished professor in Department of anthropology, McGill University, Canada (1991), National Museum of nature, USA (1991), Department of history, Northeastern University, USA (1992), Fei Zhengqing Center for East Asian Studies, Harvard University, USA (1995), and Institute of gender studies, yuchashui University, Japan (2004).

He has edited series of women's studies, gender and China, gender forum, oral history of women in 20th century (China), etc. Main works: Exploration of Eve (1987), exploration of female aesthetic consciousness (1989), sexual gap (1989), towards women (1994), answers about women (1997), interpretation of women (1999), academic issues of women / gender (2005), etc.
