Wang Bei
Wang Bei, professor and doctoral supervisor, was born in November 1964 in Leshan, Sichuan Province. At present, he is the director of Department of epidemiology and health statistics, School of public health, Southeast University, the director of the second Asia Mycoplasma Organization (AOM), and the member of Mycoplasma Expert Committee of Chinese Medical Association.
Character experience
In July 1986, he graduated from the Department of health of Nanjing Railway Medical College with a bachelor's degree in medicine. in July 1999, he received a master's degree in fluid system from Nanjing Railway Medical College. in January 2007, he received a doctor's degree in labor and environmental protection from Southeast University. in June 1999 and June 2001, he went to the Department of Microbiology of the Chinese University of Hong Kong for short-term study. from August to September 2005, he visited the Department of epidemiology of Ulm University in Germany for a short time. He served as director of the second Asia Mycoplasma Organization (AOM), member of Mycoplasma Expert Committee of micro immunity branch of Chinese Medical Association, member of epidemiology Professional Committee of Jiangsu Preventive Medicine Association, member of AIDS comprehensive prevention and Control Professional Committee of Jiangsu Preventive Medicine Association and member of epidemiology Professional Committee of Nanjing Preventive Medicine Association.
Research direction
Professor Wang Bei is mainly engaged in the teaching of epidemiology and the research of infectious diseases and molecular epidemiology for medical undergraduates and postgraduates.
Main contributions
Presided over and participated in more than 10 national, provincial, international cooperation and school level projects, including one National Natural Science Foundation project. he has published more than 20 academic papers in domestic core journals, including one in SCI and one in ISTP, and three provincial-level studies have passed the achievement appraisal and conclusion appraisal. In 2003, the project of "isolation, culture and epidemiological research of AIDS related Mycoplasma" passed the achievement appraisal organized by the Provincial Department of science and technology, and the research results obtained are leading in China, and some of them reach the international advanced level. The chief editor of clinical epidemiology was published by Southeast University Press. As the deputy chief editor and editorial board member, he participated in publishing monographs and textbooks such as psychostatistics, Epidemiology (Southeast University Press) and epidemiology (planning textbook of Ministry of education, Science Press).
Award winning record
Won the third prize of Jiangsu Province Science and technology progress. He won the title of "excellent instructor" in the 9th "Challenge Cup" National College Students' extracurricular academic and technological works competition.
