Yao Guanghua is from Xiuning, Anhui Province. He is a member of Xiuning Artists Association and graduated from the Art Department of Anhui Normal University. Now he is a member of Huangshan Artists Association, a director of Haiyang painting and calligraphy society, and a executive director of Xin'an Artists Association. He likes painting since childhood and is good at landscape painting. His works come from life and are drawn from nature. He constantly explores the brush and ink expression of landscape painting in inheriting tradition and innovation. Long term understanding of Shi Tao, Shi Xi, Huang Binhong works ink meaning. With his own unique painting language, he expressed his understanding of the beauty of nature and life noumenon, and formed a program of sketching and dot dyeing. He is good at bald pen and longing for pen. Brush and ink are afraid of wet, thick and light, and the painting is layered and more quiet with the method of ink accumulation. The simple residents at the foot of the mountain are outlined with dry brush, which highlights the beauty of Southern Anhui.

In 2003, "West foot of Baiyue" was selected into the "National Exhibition of Chinese painting works" sponsored by China Artists Association.

In 2006, "Yunjing mountain floating green" was selected into the "staff painting and calligraphy exhibition of Anhui and Zhejiang provinces and three counties".

In 2008, "Yunshan Xilin" was selected as "Anhui Provincial CPPCC calligraphy and painting photography exhibition commemorating the 30th anniversary of reform and opening up".

In 2010, "autumn dyes three streams" was selected as the "Huangshan member works exhibition in commemoration of the 400th anniversary of Jianjiang's birth and the 50th anniversary of the founding of Anhui art association" sponsored by Anhui art association.

In 2011, "pleasant living in a secluded place in Xishan Mountain" was selected into the "national calligraphy and painting exhibition to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the founding of the CPC" sponsored by the Ministry of culture of the CPC Central Committee.

In 2012, Qujian Qingyun was selected into Huangshan art exhibition.

His works have participated in provincial and municipal exhibitions for many times and won awards. He has also been published in fine arts newspaper, Hebei contemporary calligraphy and painting and other newspapers. Some of the works are also collected by collectors in Taiwan, Singapore and the United States.
