Feng Qi created PLA cadres, guerrillas and veteran artists in two patrolmen, railway guerrillas, stage sisters and Changhong uprising. Underground party members and other positive images have also successfully played negative roles in films such as Red Detachment of women, Ashima, Chunmiao and blue archives.

He died on the morning of April 13, 2015 at the age of 91. The memorial service will be held on April 15 (Wednesday) at 1:40 p.m. in Yunxiao Hall of Longhua funeral home.
