Early experience
Li Guolin primary school attends the police primary school in junqichang street. The secondary school studied at Ciyou English school and then transferred to Mo Ching Yao secondary school of St. Mary's Church of Anglican Church to complete secondary 5. After graduating from secondary five, he wanted to join the police force, but his father, who was on duty, objected. In 1974, Li Guolin applied for the fourth training course for TVB artistes, and was enrolled by Du Qifeng, Liu Shiyu and Huang Xingxiu. He once organized a stunt group to take over and make movies. He was a stunt stand in for Andy Lau. Later, he decided to disband the stunt group because he saw his colleague injured in an accident.
Acting experience
In 1975, Li Guolin took part in the first TV play "the dream of the palace of the Qing Dynasty". In the golden age of television industry in the 1970s and 1980s, he played supporting roles in a number of wireless TV dramas, including "family change", "Shanghai beach", "Legend of Chu Liuxiang" and so on.
In the early 1990s, he caused a lawsuit because of his emotional relationship and physical conflict. After the lawsuit, he left Hong Kong for Malaysia.
In 1995, he went back to TVB and played the role of Feng mofeng in the TV series "heroes of the divine eagle" starring Li ruotong and Gu Tianle, supervised by Li Tiansheng.
In 1997, he played Hatoya Mozhi in Huang Rihua's version of "Tianlong Babu".
In March 1999, he played transgender in criminal investigation archives IV.
In January 2003, he took part in "the emperor seeks the dragon" as the cruel national teacher; in March, he took part in the fashion drama "the new king of law" starring Lin Yi and Chen Jianfeng, playing lawyer Li Mingjie.
In October 2009, he played Ma Yuanzhi, the eunuch general manager, in Gong Xinji, starring she Shiman and Yang Yi. He nominated Wan qianxinghui for the best supporting actor award at the award ceremony and entered the final five.
In November 2011, he took part in the Taiqing drama "forensic pioneer III" as Lu Zhenguang, and was nominated for the best supporting actor of wanqianxinghui award ceremony again.
In July 2012, he played Liu Bei in the costume drama back to the Three Kingdoms.
In September 2013, he played shangguantian, the boss of the flying tigers, in "sniper 2013".
Personal life
Li Guolin has two younger brothers and a younger sister. His father is a policeman. When he was young, he lived in the police dormitory in Wan Chai.
In 1997, Li Guolin married his girlfriend angel, and his daughter Li Yuanjuan was born in 2002.
