Dave Wang, formerly known as Wang Dawei, was born on October 20, 1962 in Yonghe City, Taipei County, Taiwan Province. His ancestral home is Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province. He is a male singer, musician and actor of Chinese pop music.

Early experience
