Li Siyu, born in August 1980, graduated from Sun Yat sen University in 2010. It mainly undertakes the teaching work of polymer physics, industrial functional fiber and functional textiles, functional polymer materials, high-tech fiber, polymer synthesis and characterization, and also undertakes the teaching management of polymer material processing laboratory.

In terms of scientific research, the main research interests are the design and application of nanostructures of porous polymers and carbon materials, the preparation and application of nanocomposites, and the preparation and application of nano drug carriers. He has participated in a number of national and Provincial Natural Science Foundation research work, published research results in international journals such as carbon (if = 4.893), advanced science letters and other domestic and foreign journals, and participated in domestic and international academic conferences for many times to carry out academic exchanges with peers.
