Chen Zhen
Chen Zhen, in the low tide of the failure of the great revolution, joined the Communist Party of China. He has done student work and carried out the workers' movement. After the founding of the people's Republic of China, he served as the military representative of Chongqing's 23rd ordnance factory, took over the factory and resumed production. In October 1951, he served as director and Secretary of the Party group of Chongqing Industrial Experimental Institute (later Sichuan Institute of traditional Chinese Medicine) of the Ministry of light industry. Chen Zhen was born in 1905 in Xinmiao Township, Datong District, Nanchong, Sichuan Province. They used to be Chen Liangyao, Chen Bixin and Chen Zheng. In January 1930, he was transferred to work in Chengdu and successively served as member of the organization committee and Secretary of the branch of Chengdu University of the Communist Party of China, doing student work. In May, he served as Secretary General of the Western Sichuan Federation of trade and industry, pulling carts with rickshaw workers to carry out the workers' movement. In August, he served as secretary of the CPC Pengxian County Committee. In October, he served as secretary of the Pengxian Action Committee of the CPC. The main task is to strengthen the strength of local Party organizations and mass organizations and prepare for armed uprising. At the beginning of 1931, he was transferred to Chongqing as director of the Organization Department of the Chongqing municipal Party committee. Clean up the damaged party organizations and carry out the workers' movement. From June to July, he served as the organization director of the CPC East Sichuan special committee. In August, the CPC Sichuan Provincial Committee abolished the East Sichuan special committee and Chongqing Municipal Committee, and established the CPC jiangba Central County Committee. He served as secretary of the Central County Committee and Secretary of Jiangjin County Committee, leading the work of Chongqing and its nine neighboring counties. In January 1932, he was the director of the Organization Department of the CPC jiangba Central County Committee. From February to September, he served as secretary of CPC jiangba Central County Committee and director of organization department. Arrested in September for traitor identification. He was severely punished in prison and never revealed his identity. Later, he was sentenced to four years' imprisonment and insisted on fighting with the enemy. He was released from prison after the outbreak of the national anti Japanese war. On the one hand, he went back to his hometown to recuperate, on the other hand, he tried to find Party organizations. In the winter of 1937, he connected with the North Sichuan Working Committee of the Communist Party of China, restored the organizational relationship of the party, and served as the person in charge of the labor movement of the North Sichuan Working Committee of the Communist Party of China. As the headmaster of Nanchong primary school, he launched the mass Anti Japanese and national salvation movement. He was added as a member of the workers' Movement Committee of the North Sichuan Working Committee of the Communist Party of China in September 1938. In January 1939, he served as Secretary General of the CPC Nanchong central county Party committee and Secretary of the labor movement. Participate in leading the activities of Party organizations in Guang'an, Yuechi, Quxian, Yingshan, Yilong and other counties. He served as Deputy Secretary of CPC Nanchong Central County Committee and Secretary of CPC Guang'an County Committee from August to October 1940. He retreated to the Southern Bureau of the Communist Party of China in Chongqing in early 1941. In May, he arrived in Yan'an and lived in the central cadre sanatorium. From July 1942 to July 1944, he served as deputy director of Organization Department of Jiaxian county Party committee and Secretary of Wulong town Party committee of Shaanxi Gansu Ningxia border region. from April to June 1945, he attended the Seventh National Congress of the Communist Party of China as a member of the rear area delegation. After the meeting, I went to the second Department of the Party School of the CPC Central Committee to study. In 1947, he went to Dalian to treat eye diseases. In February 1950, he returned to Chongqing as the military representative of the 23rd ordnance factory, took over the factory and resumed production.
