In 1970, educated youth went to Xishuangbanna, Yunnan Province to construct the Corps. In December 1974, he was admitted to the art class of the creation room of Yunnan Provincial Bureau of culture. After graduation in 1976, he worked in the art photography studio of Yunnan Provincial Bureau of culture. In 1984, the art studio was transformed into Yunnan Academy of painting, which is a professional painter of the Academy. In 1999, Liaoning Publishing House published the collection of Gao Jinlong's works (China Art Association). In 1999, Heilongjiang Fine Arts Publishing House published Yunnan paper horse. in 1991 and 1993, he held his own painting exhibition at the wopswid Art Museum in Germany for the second time. in 1991, he was also funded by the bagenheif foundation for one month of German creation. In 1995, at the invitation of Japan Foundation for international exchange, he held a collection exhibition of folk prints in Japan folk art museum and a personal art exhibition in Yokohama Hotel gallery.
