Guo Jiafang is a Chinese zither player. In 2009, Guo Jiafang and Nanhu performer Yang Sixiong jointly released the romantic new century music soul Appreciation Series "Zheng emotion revealing".
The main musical instruments of the album are guzheng, Nanhu and cello. With the vernacular close to life and the ancient poetry with profound artistic conception, you can feel as if you are in the wilderness and gallop freely!
Zheng is a traditional Chinese plucked instrument, which originated in Qin Dynasty and flourished in Tang Dynasty. In recent decades, the great changes and popularity are no less than those of the Tang Dynasty. It is also called Qin Zheng because it is popular in the area of Qin state during the spring and Autumn period and Warring States period. The production of Zheng is made of Wutong wood, and the rectangular shape is made of a rectangular box. The panel is curved, and the number of strings is different from the dynasty. Before the Han and Jin Dynasties, there were twelve strings. After the Tang Dynasty, the number of chords was increased to thirteen strings, while the fifteen in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and sixteen strings. Taiwan professional Chinese Orchestras mainly use the 21 string and 26 string zither.
