Since 1991, China Folk Art Museum, poetry, calligraphy and Painting Academy of China Poetry and Wine Culture Association and China Academy of art have successively collected some of his ancestral shadow plays and his representative works. In September 1992, his ancestral shadow puppet won the "Flying Horse Award" in the second ancient culture and Art Festival; in 1998, he won the shortlisted excellent award and masterpiece award in the "Century Cup" Chinese arts and crafts creation exhibition; in 2002, he won the gold award of shadow puppet art in the first "Chinese national auspicious Art Festival" in Nanjing. Cao Zhenfeng, former deputy director of China Art Museum, inscribed a plaque of "shadow art Yunfei" to Wang Yunfei. Influenced by her father, Wang Xiuling inherits her ancestral career. In 2002, her works won the gold award of shadow sculpture in the first Chinese folk auspicious Art Festival in Nanjing, and the silver award of the 2007 first Chinese folk arts and crafts "local Award" held by the folk arts and crafts professional committee of China Arts and Crafts Society. Shadow play works "Romance of the Western Chamber", "Yang Zongbao vs. Mu Guiying", "Farewell My Concubine" won the first prize in "knowing honor and disgrace, promoting harmony, welcoming the Olympic Games, striving to be a civilized citizen; the first national youth cultural and artistic works collection and exhibition activity". In 2007, he participated in the 22nd annual meeting of folk arts and crafts professional committee of China Arts and Crafts Association and Shandong Rizhao modern farmer painting seminar, and published a paper "Xifu shadow play art is deeply rooted, leaves are luxuriant, flowers are more red" which was issued a certificate by China Arts and Crafts Association.
