In 1977, Wu Yuxia was admitted to Beijing from Shanghai. In Beijing Dance Academy and Central Conservatory of music, she studied successively from Liu Dehai, Li Guanghua, Chen Zemin, Li Guangzu, Wu Guoliang, Wei Zuguang, Yang Chengye and Zhao Zhongda. In recent years, she has also studied works of different schools with famous artists such as Lin Shicheng and Wang Fandi. Under the artistic nourishment of her predecessors, after years of hard training and extensive learning, she has finally grown into an outstanding Lute Player with outstanding skills and unique style, and has formed her own unique artistic style.
He won the second prize in the first national Pipa competition in 1980. In recent years, he has successfully held solo concerts at home and abroad and visited dozens of countries and regions, especially in the Golden Hall in Vienna and Carnegie Hall in the United States. Bawang Jiejia is a famous Wuqu of pipa, which is based on the story of Xiangyu's life and death after his defeat in the Western Chu Dynasty.
