Character evaluation
Guo Wei has a bumpy experience and low-key character. He is a versatile artist with a wide range of knowledge. He can compose, act and sing. He also plays the violin well. He also has a cheerful and forthright character. He plays well with everyone in his life, but he is meticulous in directing the play. He is upright and just all his life. He is a tough man and a Chinese film of the same period One of the talented directors. At the same time, his "young and bold" stems from his experience and insight. From the movie Dong Cunrui, he knew what the audience cared about. Starting from the characters and making their actions resonate with people is his artistic creation principle (comprehensive review of film art, tianjin.com and contemporary film).
Character controversy
In 2006, the 8th Journal of popular film published an interview article with Guo Wei, director of Dong Cunrui - "Dong Cunrui: a classic created by" reality ". The article said that no one had witnessed Dong Cunrui's bombing of the medicine bag, which was totally inferred from the clues afterwards. This article immediately aroused doubts from Dong Cunrui's relatives and comrades in arms. Dong Cunrui's comrades in arms suggested that the "law on the protection of Chinese heroes" should be formulated.
