Magnolia, the name of traditional Chinese medicine. Magnolia, also known as Magnolia and Magnolia, are endemic to China. They are distributed in Yunnan, Fujian, Hubei, Sichuan and other places in China. They grow in areas with an altitude of 300-1600 meters, and generally grow on the edge of hillside forests. Magnolia grandiflora is an excellent garden and street greening plant. It is a traditional flower and traditional Chinese medicine with a history of more than 2000 years in China. Magnolia has been listed in the World Conservation Union (IUCN) ver3.2:2009 red list of plants. It is not easy to transplant and maintain, and is a very precious flower.

Physiological characteristics

Magnolia like light, not shade; cold, like fertile, wet, well drained soil, avoid clay soil, not saline; fleshy roots, avoid water wet; developed roots, strong tillering ability. Wangchunhua grows in the hillside forest with an altitude of 400-2400m; Yulan grows in the mixed forest of evergreen broad-leaved trees and deciduous broad-leaved trees with an altitude below 1200m, which is widely cultivated in gardens; Yulan of Wudang grows in the mixed forest of evergreen broad-leaved trees and deciduous broad-leaved trees with an altitude of 1300-2000m.

Place of Origin

1. Wangchunhua is distributed in southern Shaanxi, Gansu, western Henan, Western Hubei and Sichuan. 2. Magnolia distributed in Anhui, Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Hunan, Guangdong and other places. 3. Magnolia Wudang is distributed in Shaanxi, Gansu, Henan, Hubei, Sichuan and other places.

Application site

The dried flower buds of Magnoliaceae, Magnolia odorata or Magnolia Wudang.

Processing method
