）Hong Kong pop band, founded in 1987, was active in the late 1980s. It was dissolved in 1990 and reorganized in 2004. It has three members: Huang Liangsheng, Su Dehua and Shan Liwen. All three of them are famous senior musicians today. They were first members of the heavy metal band Chyna. Chyna broke up in 1983 after an English album. Another American singer Lana del Rey's song of the same name is included in Lana del Rey's first album "born to die", which was officially released on January 30, 2012.

The beginning of fame

After blue jeans formed a group, he won the champion of the pop song competition with "how can it be?". They are generally recognized as the powerful bands in the middle and late 1980s, when the trend of Hong Kong bands was booming and declining.

All of the three members have long hair and participate in composition and performance. Huang Liangsheng is responsible for nearly 90% of the composition. Today, Su Dehua's music arrangement and guitar are still one of the best in Hong Kong. Shan Liwen also began to participate in the creation of lyrics and music in his later period.

1983

Before blue jeans was formed, Chyna band was formed in 1983. At that time, its members included Huang Liangsheng (harpsichord), Su Dehua (guitar), Shan Liwen (bass guitar) and Donald Ashley (drum), playing poprock music.

In his visit, Huang Liangsheng said: our purpose of forming Chyna is to have a team of bands to represent Hong Kong. We hope to do more for the music industry in Hong Kong. Moreover, it is not easy to get a band. Besides technology, we also need communication.

In the same year, they launched a large album, there's rock & rollin China, which included 9 original works, including under 32, Redeyes, within you'll remain, voodoo child, the journey, rockin '+ rollin', questions & answers, closertoyou and support your local music.

There is no doubt that "within you'll remain" is the most familiar work. At that time, it held the top of Southeast Asian music charts for four consecutive weeks. Even if you haven't heard the version of Chyna, you may have heard Xu Xiaofeng's a red face, or the new version in the latest blue jeans album. It was created by Huang Liangsheng when he was recording for someone else. Unexpectedly, Donald was late, so he created it by himself. "I love you" in the chorus is their painstaking efforts. Hua Zai thinks that it's better to sing Mandarin than Cantonese. If only "iloveyou" is too common, the effect is not so good. On September 14 of the same year, they held a concert in the Iraqi Pavilion, and the response was unexpected.

Since then, Chyna has gone her separate ways. Huang Liangsheng, Huazai and PAL have focused on behind the scenes music work. They are the Royal musicians of Anita Mui, Zhang Guorong and Xu Xiaofeng. They have also been involved in record production, composition, arrangement and soundtrack work.

1987

Blue jeans became an army in 1987. The band is led by Huang Liangsheng and includes Su Dehua and Shan Liwen. Huang Liangsheng named the band blue jeans on the basis that the jeans are popular enough to show that their music can be endured, heard and international. They won the championship in the Hong Kong final of the Asia Pacific pop song competition with "how can it be?" and signed with CBS / Sony, formally stepping on the stage from behind the scenes to embark on a new stage of their artistic journey.

From behind the scenes to in front of the scenes, Huazai and Huang Liangsheng have the following views: behind the scenes, they feel that many things have constraints. For example, how to arrange and play music must follow the book. So we decided to try to develop to the front of the scenes, hoping to be more free in all aspects. It's easier to work behind the scenes. We can only care about our own affairs and ignore the thoughts of others. But we can't think like this any more. There is a lot of pressure in front of the stage and there is a lot of right and wrong. As soon as something happens, we can point dozens of arrows at ourselves. However, we have to say that when we create and perform ourselves, we can never find the satisfaction when we accompany others.

Compared with Chyna, the music of blue jeans is much more gentle, and the songs are all performed in Cantonese, which is more easily accepted by the majority of music fans. In December of the same year, blue jeans released its first EP. In addition to "how unreasonable", its main songs include "midnight lover... Dreamchill" and "judge is crazy". Blue jeans, which only released one EP, won the bronze medal of Rookie Award at the top ten Chinese Golden Songs Award ceremony hosted by RTHK, and "how can I do this" won the best Chinese song award.

1988

In May 1988, blue jeans released its first album, blue warrior. Since then, their Chinese team name has been called blue warrior. The sales volume of the album soon broke through the golden record number. Among them, the most popular songs included "life wine bank", "blue warrior" and "romantic year", among which "life wine bank" became the highest broadcast rate of RTHK in that year. It can be seen that the music of blue jeans is widely appreciated by the audience. On July 9 of the same year, blue jeans founded the international fan association. In addition to composing and composing music for the singers, they also worked as soundtrack for films, of which Huang Liangsheng was responsible for the soundtrack of France China situation. Bluejeans's second album, always your friend, was released in January. After that, they launched two 3-inch discs. Blue jeans held its first concert in the college hall on February 11, performing 18 works, including "romantic year", "rainy day" and "don't look back" dedicated to Wallace Chow, as well as performing Beatles's "is his standing there", "all my loving" and "LetItBe" again. 1990

Hua Zai is the music director of Wang Jie's concert, while Huang Liangsheng and Ya pal are responsible for the accompaniment. Blue jeans released its third album of the same name in April, with the main songs of "boring time", "this earth" and "a little bit of soul". After that, the three members went their own way. Huang Liangsheng and Hua Zai still focused on behind the scenes work and worked as record producers for many singers.
