Li Xinran, male, Han nationality, was born in 1982. He is a member of the Communist Youth League. He is a volunteer of College Students' volunteer service for the western plan. After his service, he took root in the border areas. Now he is the head of the first ranch Youth League Committee of the 14th agricultural construction division of Xinjiang production and Construction Corps.

The beginning of volunteers

Experience in the ranch

He often went to ranch primary school to teach students patriotism education. In view of the difficulties of many students' families, some even couldn't finish their primary school, Li Xinran actively applied to the higher authorities for Mingde scholarship to help these poor students continue to go to school. He himself also helped eight poor students to continue their studies. He repeatedly went to the grass-roots company at an altitude of 34 kilometers to investigate and understand the work of the regiment and assist the company in its production work. In particular, he was frostbitten many times in the work of receiving lambs, repairing channels, and disaster relief, and once caused foot bone fracture.

Contribution in ranching

In the winter of 2004, a rare snow disaster happened in a ranch since 1996. Li Xinran, who was in the stockyard of Mu Yilian, called on everyone to evacuate all the big animals in the company, such as horses, yaks and donkeys, before the sheep. From day to night, all the sheep in the company were saved, but Li Xinran's face was left with frostbite scar that can never fade. When Li Qingxiang, a poor old man living in a dilapidated warehouse, lives alone on the subsistence allowance every month, he will quietly buy a bag of flour and take a lot of old clothes to the old man. Every time he went to Hotan, he never forgot to patronize the blood donation car. He has donated 1600 ml of blood. out of his deep love for Kunlun Mountain and pasture, he gave up the opportunity to start a business together with his friends after finishing his service, and without hesitation, he chose to stay and take root in the frontier, becoming a genuine rancher and corps man. Due to his outstanding achievements, he was awarded the honorary title of "excellent young volunteer" by the Youth League Committee of the 14th division in July 2005. In August 2005, after his service period had just expired, he was determined by the Party committee of the first ranch as the development object of Party members.
