Life of the characters
LiZong Duanping two years (1235) Jinshi, know Pingyang County. At that time, he talked about arts with famous scholars, applied great righteousness, and learned to prosper. He used to be the governor of Guozijian, the prefect of Putian, Fujian Province, and the official to the chaosan doctor. His poems are magnificent, his leisure time is full of calligraphy, and he is good at drawing dragons. Dragon painting is good at using water and ink, which is deep in the meaning of change, splashing ink into clouds and splashing water into fog. Especially when drunk and yelling, taking off the towel and moistening the ink, you can easily smear it, and then write it with a pen, or all of them, or one arm, vaguely and indescribably. Jia Sidao is not disobedient when he is drunk and insulted. He also wrote about pine and bamboo, learning Li Yu's "iron hook lock" method. In his later years, his writing skills were simple and exquisite, and those with red color could merge with Dong Yu. I also paint tiger, and I dye spot hair very carefully. There are fake copies to be handed down. The existing volume of "the picture of Kowloon" in Boston Museum is probably a copy of the Yuan Dynasty.
achievement
Chen Rong plays an important role in the history of Chinese art. "Suownglong" has become a model for later generations to draw dragons, and has been sought after by Chinese people, especially by painters since the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Even in Japan, for hundreds of years, most of the paintings with dragon patterns were imitated by Chen Rong. Junichiro Koizumi, a famous Japanese painter, once sincerely commented that Chen Rong's dragon is charming and lively as it is. Only genius can draw such a picture!
By the way, Chen Rong is not only good at drawing dragons, but also pines, bamboos and cranes. Occasionally, he also paints tigers. His strokes are simple and exquisite. Therefore, he is known as "Suo Weng long", "Suo Weng he" and "Suo Weng Zhu". At that time, dignitaries and literati were honored to get suownlong. Jia Sidao, a treacherous minister and Prime Minister famous for playing tricks and extorting, raided countless gold, silver, jewelry and rare antiques all his life. However, he could not get a "suownlong" painting until his death.
