Profile
Li Yuhe is a railway switcher. He is a member of the Communist Party of China. During the Japanese occupation period, he and his mother, Granny Li, and elder martial brother's daughter, Li Tiemei, formed a bloodless family.
Li Yuhe received instructions from the party that the underground traffic personnel would send a secret code to the guerrillas as soon as possible. But the traffic man had an accident on the way and was injured by the enemy when he jumped. Li Yuhe ran with the traffic man on his back, and inspector Wang was behind him as a cover. At home, the traffic warden gave the code to Li Yuhe and died. At the same time, Hatoyama, leader of the Japanese gendarmerie, also received instructions to impose martial law on the whole city immediately. Li Yu and Li Yu tried to transfer the code several times, but they failed, so they had to take tie Mei to bury the code in the railway subgrade. Hatoyama couldn't find the secret code, but got an important clue, that is, the gunshot wound in inspector Wang's left arm was obviously not beaten by others, but by himself. Inspector Wang could not stand the test, defected to the revolution, and all confessed truthfully. Hatoyama pretends that he and Li Yuhe are old acquaintances. He asks Li Yuhe to go to the banquet and asks Li Yuhe to hand in the secret code. I didn't know that Li Yuhe was a tough man. He would rather die than surrender. The insidious and cunning Hatoyama attempts to use the love between mother and son to cheat out the secret code from his grandmother. But Grandma Li, who has rich experience in struggle, has long seen through Hatoyama's deception.
The next day, Hatoyama arranged a meeting for the three generations of Li Yuhe's family to spy on the whereabouts of the secret code, but there was no result. Finally, Granny Li and Li Yuhe died, and Li Tiemei also grew up in this sharp struggle.
