Early experience

Wei Shi was born in a multinational family. His father was Filipino and his mother was Korean. When her parents divorced as a child, her mother took her sister Wei Lan back to live in South Korea, while Wei Shi lived in Hong Kong with her father until she was 10 years old. In middle school, the two sisters were forced to stop school and sing in bars with their father to make money. They worked from 7 a.m. to late at night and had to face the male guests who "pumped water" for an excuse. Their father earned 4000 yuan a month.

Acting experience

In 2006, she joined the music world with the introduction of her twin sister Wei Lan. In the same year, she released her first personal music album "hitme"; in the same year, she released her first personal EP album "diamond love"; in the same year, she won the silver award of "Chizha music world pop list award ceremony 2006" for Chizha music world new force female singer.

Personal life

In February 2009, the relationship between Wei Shi and Guan Chuyao was made public. In May 2010, Guan Chuyao admitted to keeping in touch with Wei Shi, but the relationship has changed from a couple to a good friend. In 2011, Wei Shi admitted to associating with a boy outside the circle. Her boyfriend, Tim, is four years younger than her and is a Chinese English Christian.
