Early experience

Kan Liwen is a native of Inner Mongolia. He was born in a family of folk music. He was influenced by his parents and lived on the campus of the art school. In addition to percussion major, he also knows and is proficient in piano and modern popular electroacoustic instruments. In 1989, he graduated from Inner Mongolia Art Institute and started his own music career in Beijing. He was the earliest generation of Beipiao.

Acting experience

In 1991, he came to Shenzhen and began to write music. From 1990 to 1993, he was a professional percussion musician of the Inner Mongolia Radio and TV Cultural Troupe. From 1993 to 2001, he successively participated in the formation of "Mongolian Knight", "music Park", "westerner" and other original music bands. Personal life

Kan Liwen's father was born in a peasant family, his mother was from Shanxi, and both of his parents worked in music. Kan Liwen is a single father with a daughter. He opened a teahouse in Inner Mongolia and a music bar with his partner Zhao Jiufeng in Shenzhen, providing a platform for people who love music to communicate.
