Male, born in Tianjin in 1962, is the main actor of Tianjin Youth Peking Opera Troupe. In 1975, he joined Tianjin opera school to study art and worked as an old student of Beijing opera. He was taught by Cao Shijia and other famous teachers. He graduated in 1981. In 1984, he joined Tianjin Youth Peking Opera Troupe and became one of the main actors of the troupe. In 1986, he also studied Yang School (Yang Baosen) art with Cheng Zhengtai, Tan Yuanshou, Ma Changli and Ding cunkun.
