Wang Xinxin
Wang Xinxin, female, is one of the most important Nanguan musicians of contemporary Chinese. He grew up in Quanzhou, the hometown of Nanguan, Fujian Province. He began to study Nanguan at the age of four. In 1984, he was admitted to Nanguan Junior College of Fujian art school with the first grade in technique. He learned from famous Nanguan teachers, such as Zhuang Bulian, Wu Zao, Ma Xiangfan, and so on. He excelled in fingering, composing Daqu and various musical instruments. He is especially famous for singing. He is a rare musical talent in Nanguan. He was a full-time musician of Fujian Quanzhou Nanyin Orchestra and music director of Taipei Han Tang Yuefu Nanguan ancient orchestra.
Personal experience
In 1992, he settled in Taiwan, adhering to the mission of Nanguan's contemporary singing and daring to break through the traditional pattern. In 2003, he founded Xinxin Nanguan music workshop, which is dedicated to the cross field cooperation between Nanguan and contemporary art. He is also unique in the combination of Nanguan's singing and Chinese classical poetry and literature. Artistic features
Wang Xinxin has been famous for playing and singing Pipa since childhood. With his talent and hard work, he has high attainments in both singing skills and Nanpa techniques. After entering the art school, he studied Erxian and Dongxiao under the famous Jiangnan teachers Zhuang Bulian, Wu Zao and Ma Xiangxian, and further studied Daqu of each finger. So Wang Xinxin has the title of "five pieces of chair sitting through", which is the respect of Nanguan artists for those who are proficient in Pipa, Dongxiao, Sanxian, Erxian and singer. Wang Xinxin's singing sound quality is gentle, the music is elegant, the rhyme is deep and touching, which is quite typical of classical music. What's more valuable is that she has rich teaching experience, clear and systematic teaching methods, so that those who want to understand and learn Nanguan music can master the knowledge of singing and playing Nanguan music in the most efficient way. She is a rare musician and teaching researcher in China. When Wang Xinxin came to Taiwan as the music director of "Han and Tang Yuefu", he not only trained talents for the troupe, but also served as the main musician and lead singer of the concert. He also devoted himself to the combination and innovation of Nanguan ancient music and modern art. She helped "Han and Tang Yuefu" to re combine the tactful Nanguan dance with the delicate and graceful Liyuan dance steps, which not only caused a sensation in Taiwan's art and culture circles, but also became the object of invitation all over the world. Wang Xinxin, who has received solid music training in the college and accumulated many years of teaching experience, broke away from the traditional oral teaching method of ordinary folk artists, and compiled a set of simple teaching materials, which can help people who have no music foundation quickly master the unique music form of Nanguan. What's more, because Wang Xinxin thought that the music rhythm of Nanguan ancient music was relatively slow, and the lyrics were rather difficult and not easy to use, so he put Tang poetry on Nanguan Qupai, as a beginner to master Nanguan singing. In addition to cultivating professional talents in various art universities, she also promoted Nanguan music into community education. She cooperated with community universities and autonomous communities to set up Nanguan appreciation classes to cultivate people who appreciate Nanguan music. She also promoted the establishment of Nanguan associations on campus and held demonstration lectures to make Nanguan music take root and grow again. In order to preserve and promote Nanguan ancient music, Wang Xinxin cooperated with Han and Tang Yuefu to record Nanguan Daqu, finger music, score music and other audio publications. In addition, in order to express his personal ideas, he also published "Nanguan Jinqu anthology 1 & 2". In addition to Nanguan's traditional repertoire, in order to make it easier for modern people to master Nanguan's music, Wang Xinxin has devoted himself to the production and release of "Nanguan's new songs of Tang poetry" in the past two years. The idea of this album has been brewing for a long time. Wang Xinxin not only serves as the lead singer, but also personally supervises the recording behind the scenes. He has also invited the top Nanguan musicians from Quanzhou and Xiamen to participate in it And recording quality to the highest level. In particular, each Tang poem in this album is composed of different Nanguan tunes.
