He came to the U.S. from Taiwan to study for a master's degree in Computer Science in 80 years. After 12 years of working in the computer engineering field of Silicon Valley, he was summoned to serve the host all the time at the end of 1991. He started the "Christian Assembly" (now called Silicon Valley Christian assembly) in Cupertino city with a few brothers and sisters, and has been the pastor of the church so far. Brother Yu often goes abroad to serve the churches. His information is based on truth. He attaches great importance to the depth of life and the practice of life. Crisis one: we have heard too much, but we can't do it. We have received too many promises, but we didn't go in.

In this generation, we are too busy to be blind and numb. We are so busy that our lives are destroyed. For example, our praying life is destroyed. Praying is not a matter, but a meeting with God in the Holy Spirit. Let's not blame many ministries for not being able to push forward. In fact, it's our own problems. We must rebuild our foundation and reflect on ourselves. If the foundation is destroyed, no ministry can be carried out. We must always ask ourselves: is the present life in God's favor? The biggest problem now is not that there are no attentive workers in God's family, but what we do most of the time. What we are important for is often not what God wants. So what does God want? Pastor Yu Hongjie said that if we listen to the Tao but not the Tao, we have new lives, but not all of them are rich; if we are saved, but not all of them are victorious; if we undertake a great mission, we may not all have a sense of mission.

Crisis 2: lack of face to face with God

Today we lack a first-hand relationship with God. We lack a direct face-to-face relationship with God. Today, our spiritual practice and prayer life will be poor and interrupted. The reason why we are disturbed is that we lack a direct relationship with God. Spiritual practice and prayer are all about communion with God. if we love God, the most important feature of love is that we like to be with him. Therefore, when we are close to God, we are not forced or practiced, but we should take it for granted, and we yearn for joy in our hearts. God's presence is not by feeling, but by fact. Because he promised us that we would come to the throne of grace, that he would walk with us to the end of the world. When the Holy Spirit comes down, he will always be with us. Maybe our feelings will change, but God's promise will never change. God's presence is to believe, accept and enter by faith, not by feeling. So we rely on God to get rid of the "second-hand" God's presence. We need to experience God's presence "first-hand". Jacob once said, "God is here, and I don't know." It's a spiritual awakening. We should all have this kind of awakening. No matter what kind of service we are engaged in, we should pay attention to the relationship with God, which is the most important source of our strength. If our relationship with God is cut off, no matter how many theological degrees we have or how many gifts we have, our enemies will not be afraid of us at all. Jesus said, "I am the vine, and you are the branches. If we break our bond with God, withering is our inevitable outcome, because we have left the source of life. We have to reflect on how much time in a day we really meet God and live our own life in the presence of the Lord.

Christians should serve with their lives

the relationship between life, life and service is like a triangle. Life is the foundation, life is the publication and manifestation of life, and service is the peak of life and our center. If we talk about service today, we will never leave the foundation of life. Therefore, what kind of foundation there is, there is what kind of service. So if a person's relationship with God is right, even if he is a new believer, even if he has no gift, then we can see God's presence from him. So let us not desire to be great vessels, but let us desire to be useful vessels. Finally, pastor Yu Hongjie said: today we pray a lot, but we don't meet the God who listens to the prayer. We read the Scriptures, but we don't meet the God who speaks. Today we serve the God a lot, but we are not in front of him. True service is to serve God, true prayer is to meet the God who listens to prayer, and true reading is to meet the God who speaks well. Although we don't always have transcendent experiences, we need our spiritual life to enter into a different situation in Jesus Christ.
