On May 7, 1959, Weng Meiling was born in Hong Kong. Her nickname is Nannan. In 1966, when Weng Meiling was seven years old, her father died. Acting experience
At the end of March 1982, Weng Meiling returned from England to Hong Kong for her holiday. She signed up again for the beauty pageant of sister Hong Kong and finally won the eighth place due to her height. In July, Weng Meiling signed a contract with Hong Kong Wireless TV station to act as the host of "women's new look" and shot her first advertising endorsement, shampoo. In August, Weng Meiling was transferred to the drama group to audition for a TV play. Personal life
family
Weng Meiling is the only daughter in the family. Her mother's name is Zhang Mingru and her Uncle Chen Jing. He lives at broadcast Road, Kowloon, Hong Kong.
Weng Meiling's father works in the customs and has two wives. My father died at the age of seven. In 1973, Weng Meiling's mother married Liao Jintang and first moved to England. Weng Meiling met Tang Zhenye in 1983 when she was shooting the TV series "biography of the arched hero". They established a love relationship and began to appear in public as lovers.
In 1985, the relationship between Weng Meiling and Tang Zhenye was not smooth, and Zou Shilong began to pursue Weng Meiling.
Death
On May 14, 1985, Weng Meiling committed suicide by turning on gas at home. She died at the age of 26. At 11:00 a.m. on May 18, the funeral ceremony of Weng Meiling began. She was wearing a white embroidered costume. On May 19, Weng Meiling's body was buried in the world funeral home in Kowloon. Eight people from TVB, including Andy Lau, Tony Leung, Huang Rihua, Miao Qiaowei, Xiao Sheng, Li Tiansheng, Wu Runquan and he Jialian, helped to revive the body and then moved to Cape Collinson for cremation. On May 28, Weng Meiling's ashes were transported back to England and a memorial service was held in a Catholic Church in Cambridge. On June 3, the ashes were buried at the Catholic Cemetery in Cambridge new market, Cambridge University Town, UK.
