Brief introduction of Korean Nong Yue dance (Qili dance)
Applicant: Benxi City, Liaoning Province
"Nongle dance", commonly known as "Nongle", is popular in Jilin, Heilongjiang, Liaoning and other Korean inhabited areas. Its history can be traced back to "stepping on the earth God" in the sacrificial ceremony of spring sowing and autumn harvest in ancient Korea. "Nong Yue Wu" is a comprehensive folk art which integrates music, dance and singing. The representative folk traditional activity "Nongle dance" of the Korean nationality, which originated from agricultural labor and has ancient sacrificial elements, generally has two forms: one is a plot performance in the form of dance and pantomime; the other is a mass performance with hot and rich traditional dance as the content at the beginning of the new year and the harvest season. The performance of "Nongle dance" consists of 12 parts. There are "small drum dance" performed by young men, "overlapping dance" performed by dance children, "flat drum dance" performed by many people, "Long Drum Dance" performed by both men and women, "Fan Dance" performed by many people with large flower fans, which originated from ancient "witch dance", fake dance "Crane Dance", and finally man's "elephant Hat Dance". Elephant hat dance has always been an eye-catching and exciting dance. The difficult skill of young male dancers' head swinging 20 meters long ribbon is dazzling, and has become one of the most prominent symbols of "Nong Yue dance".
The Korean Qili dance, which is popular in Huanren County, Benxi City, Liaoning Province, has a long history. It originated from the folk activities of praying for agricultural harvest. It was originally a kind of agricultural music and dance. With the development of the times, it gradually formed a dance integrating self entertainment and performance.
Qili dance has a relatively stable traditional program, but it is not limited by the traditional program. Performers can dance according to the scene emotions, and the whole dance has a strong improvisation. When the performers are in high spirits, everyone shows their magic power. The male shakes the elephant hat to make the top tassels fly and draw a beautiful arc. The girl swivels while beating the drum to express her feelings with the movement and aesthetic feeling of the body. The old performers not only pay attention to the charm of the dance, but also pay attention to the posture, with a variety of movements. They can express their joy through improvisation The best. Qili dance is a typical representative of Korean peasant group dance with many participants and wide influence.
The kile dance is mainly performed in major festivals or large-scale activities of the Korean people, such as zuozhou (one birthday), Huijia (60th birthday), Huijia (60th anniversary of marriage) or wedding, shop opening, construction and repair of temples. The old people in the village will take the lead in organizing song and dance performances. Qili dance is mostly inherited through the family.
Compared with the "God of stepping on the earth" for praying for gods and the "God of stepping on the earth" for self entertainment, the most prominent feature of the Qili Nong music and dance is its distinctive performance, which is a form of agricultural music and dance for people to watch. Because of its complex dance form, refined movements and superb skills, it enjoys a unique position in Korean dance. However, due to the impact of modern civilization and the death of old artists, this ancient art is facing the danger of being lost, which needs to be rescued and protected.
